Melodeon is a place to explore the world of music in a mindful and creative way. Two time GRAMMY® nominee Tracy Bonham celebrates the joy of learning and shares her passion for music theory and harmony through her original music, stories, and movement. Melodeon’s songs are not only educational they encourage empathy and self awareness. Bonham believes an education in music is an essential tool for children to connect to themselves and to the world around them. It activates both sides of the brain to improve cognitive functioning such as speech, language, mathematics, as well as spacial learning and creativity. Sadly, music education (and the arts in general) have become dismissed by school districts nationwide due to continued budget cuts throughout the last few decades. Tracy wants children to experience what she had growing up; a rich and well rounded music education with passionate teachers.
